General Warranty

Spec-Trim Mfg. Co., Inc. warrants, for a period of one (1) year after delivery, that our products are free from defects in workmanship or material under normal use and care. Spec-Trim's obligation under this warranty is limited to replacement or repair, at Spec-Trim's option.

This warranty shall be void if the product has been subjected to misuse or damaged by negligence or accident (to include improper product installation) or if it has been repaired or altered by anyone other than Spec-Trim authorized personnel.

Windows

When installing windows with curved brickmoulding, we recommend predrilling to avoid cracking and splitting the material. Any window installed without first predrilling will be considered improperly installed and will not be warranted against cracking and splitting of brickmoulding.

Direct set windows larger than fifteen(15) square feet are especially susceptible to water leakage caused by glazing failure during shipment and installation. Check for glazing failure after installation and before painting, then recaulk with any acrylic latex caulk.

Spec-Trim will not warranty any window where glazing failure has been caused by improper handling and/or installation.

Glass

Spec-Trim Mfg. Co., Inc.'s warranty on dual-sealed glass states, for a period of ten (10) years after delivery, that our glass is free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and care. All other glass carries a five (5) year warranty. Spec-Trim's obligation under this warranty is limited to replacement or repair, at Spec-Trim's option.
