Five-Year Parts Warranty

Legacy Windows are warranted to be free from defects in manufacturing, materials, and workmanship. If a defect is found, Legacy Windows will, at its option:

  1. Repair the defective product,
  2. Replace the defective materials, or
  3. Refund your purchase price.

If replacement or replair is elected, Legacy Windows will not be responsible for refinishing. This Five-Year Warranty covers all parts of the window, excluding the glass and the finish.

Ten-Year Finish Warranty

Legacy Windows warranties the the paint on all pre-finished PVC surfaces will not peel, chip, fade excessively, or yellow excessively for a period of ten years. Legacy Windows also warranties that all unpainted PVC surfaces will not degrade beyond industry standards for a period of ten years.

Twenty-Year Glass Warranty

Legacy Windows warrants that each insulated glass unit shall be free from defects in the field of view per applicable ANSI standards. Minor imperfections of the glass unit that do not affect vision or product performance, including curvature of glass due to atmospheric conditions, are not warranted. Legacy Windows also warrants each glass unit against seal failure for a period of twenty years from the date of its manufacture. Condensation or frost on exposed surfaces is not a defect of the product, but a result of excessive humidity and is not warranted.

Exclusions to the Legacy Windows 5-10-20 Warranty

Legacy Windows will not warranty its products under the following conditions:

  1. Improper installation, field finishing, or maintenance;
  2. Environmental conditions or use exceeding design standards;
  3. Normal wear or discoloration of finishes;
  4. Corrosion of standard hardware in coastal applications;
  5. Installation in Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS), also known as synthetic stucco, without an engineered drainage system.

Your exclusive remedy to any and all losses or damages resulting from any cause whatsoever shall be as specified above. We shall in no event be liable for any consequential or incidental damages of any kind, however occasioned, whether by negligence OR otherwise. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Thiw warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties and no person, including any agency or representative, is authorized to make any representation or warranty concerning this product, except to refer purchasers to the stated above.
